Katherine provides legal advice and representation to employment clients on termination and wrongful dismissal, employment contracts and workplace policies and issues. She brings 20 years of experience and a practical approach to every matter in order to deliver the client’s best result.

Katherine works with individuals as well as businesses and organizations in the private sector. Representing both sides of the employment relationship provides firsthand insight into opposing perspectives. This strategic advantage is passed on to clients through confident legal advice supporting realistic results when there are competing interests at hand.

Katherine maintains a Supreme Court of Canada agency practice and appears before the Ontario courts and various administrative tribunals. She has an active interest in corporate governance and is a board member and committee chair of a Canadian company with about 5000 employees and over $1 billion in annual revenues where she has also served on the audit committee for nine years.

Originally from northern Ontario, Katherine was called to the Ontario bar in 1989 with an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School after studying at the University of Western Ontario and then graduating from Queen’s.
